marianne lee (now NEE!) and samuel got married over the weekend. i've been to quite a number of weddings, but this was probably the most touching and "awwwwwwwh" wedding i have ever been too.
maybe it was cause i've known marianne since we were kids when she, bryan, just, m.hui and i took swimming lessons together. and i think the rest of the kpc kias all felt it with me, seeing one of us who grew up together (ok i didnt know her for as long as the rest, but long enough) committing her life with her other half just made it really special.
the fact that the 2 of them made the wedding totally their own helped too. they followed the formalities and all, but along the way they had those little bits where they spoke to each other, joked and laughed in their usual way, with no attempt to hide their unique personalities. they were just being themselves, and that made the occasion all the more beautiful.
