i wonder why my shin doesn't want to recover. piece of shit.
anyway, just an update on things, since i know how irritating it is to be following a blog that doesn't update with anything but videos. (im assuming hopefully that there are people who follows my blog. if not then... whatever... this just a place for me to say what i want)
training has been good, i'm picking up on the season training again esp with coach david pushing us every swim training. my stroke is back, and now working on my turnovers. mok kicked my ass during training today.
bike is looking progressing good. the trainer work and long rides are showing effect. did a bike fit over the weekend and im gonna have to get used to the new position, but otherwise my leg strength is improving.
my run is surprisingly still in existence. i thought it would be totally gone, but apparently the cross training from the cycling is limiting the damage. my stamina is not there though, but the muscular power is there. gonna do long grass runs till i rcover from the shin splints proper.
mugging has been great. the 5 day week is a blessing in disguise. i get to focus on one module a day, and im on track for my readings, which is a first. things are looking good at the moment.
hope everyone is doing fine as well at this moment! do pray for haiti and the victims of the earthquake!

Hello jon keep patient with the running and the shin splints are bound to go away. One major reason that u get shin splints is a bad shoe fit. Did u start getting the shin splints recently after you "running form" change? I recall u changed your landing recently? did u get splints shortly after? If so it might be due to shoe mismatch. Be patient, but be quick so i wont be so lonely on my runs!!!
