why?

why do we run?

why do we swim?

why do we torture ourselves in this manner? with little or nothing to show for it?

sure, exercise keeps us fit, keeps us healthy, and some would say make us live longer.

but i believe i speak for many of us would truly run and swim and whatever exercise is that we dun do it so that we can live longer.

but so that we would live fuller.

it's just emotions (and alcohol) taking over...

go away. i dun need someone who pretends to listen, and placates me with backbone-less statements. i dun want to waste my time on someone who doesnt listen. i stood by u for 3 years. everytime u needed a listening ear, advice, or even someone to stop u from getting into trouble and fights, i was there. and now u dun even treat me like the brother u claim to.
how could i be so blind. No, so obstinate, to have seen your true colours, even predict what would unfold, and yet still stand by u.

now i have had enough. i dun want to waste my time anymore.

i give up on you.

on the bright side, went for MEO's wedding. was great seeing my ship crew again, and with their attempts to get me drunk, (i ended up high, not drunk. juz ask my neighbours) it was heartening to see everyone still pretty much the same since i left ship, though there were some changes as well in terms of personel. it was fun. dumb part was i brought my camera but forgot to use it. sian. hahaha...

ok time to slp. make up tutorial in the morning in a few hours time.

Bang bang i hit the wall...

training today was quite... well, i dunno how to put it when u get a satisfied feeling that u get when u know u hit the proverbial wall from training really hard, but at the same time sucks cause u know u pushed too hard. what a wierd thing.

anyway, was so looking forward to getting my bike today, but by some super suay chance, the label on the bike i was geting was labelled the wrong size, so at first the guy thought he had stock for me, but actually not. so i ended up with having to wait for the new stock. hope it comes early before corporate tri so i get sometime to train on it...

sian.

body doesnt want to respond as normal... shagged out liao.

o the insanity of it all

my training schedule.

Mon: Biathlon hybrid (swim and run) training
Tues: IHG X-campus (and my occasional swim in the afternoon)
Wed: Biathlon run training (and i swim in the afternoon again)
Thurs: IHG track training (and yes i still swim in the afternoon)
Fri: IHG X-campus (nope NOT swimming today hahaha)
Sat: Biathlon swim training
Sun:Lifesaving

One word. Siao.

differentiation

last night jason, jia jie and i were on our way to sheares for supper (never eat dinner!), the following conversation shows the difference b/w a science student and an arts student.

Jason (Arts):" What's 36 times 8?"

Me (Arts):" Thats damn alot."

Jiajie (Science):"288."

ta daaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

On a side note, i made the mistake of washing my dark-coloured clothes with my white towel today. shit. need to buy scotch tape...

selamat hari raya dan hari kanak-kanak

deleted my previous entry cause the more i look at it the more i don't like it. so there it went.

anyway, had run training this morning, and i couldnt go as fast as i would like cause i couldnt feel my legs due to the last night's x-campus training. so i went for a swim in the afternoon to make up for it.

jason and nicolas say im crazy. i think so too.

after the swim we picked up jiajie with jason's car and we went out to this hawker centre at maju for our own little hari raya celebration. out came the chicken rice,
zhou, (what's with that man... haha...), kang kong, pork soup (wahahaha, hari raya somemore... ironic), sting ray, chicken wings and satay (salivating yet? =p) and in true healthy eating spirit, had a fruit platter to end the whole thing off. wonderfulness.

sometimes it's times like these that makes your day.

PS: on a side note, i ahd my first macdonald breakfast in months after training. hahaha thanks to aldrich. and sorry zhi yun! we pangseh u! wahahahahaha!

PPS: oh shit, next swim training will die. imagine Zhi yun:
"Guys! 10 sets of 200m, 3 mins! cannot make timing then add one more set!" hohoho!
